Abstract
|
|
|
Sellar region tumors are most commonly resected via transsphenoidal approach(TSA). In a patient with Rathke’s cleft
cyst, sudden development of visual loss followed by TSA procedure and her vision was recovered incompletely after
chiasmal decompression. However iatrogenic compression of the optic nerve and chiasm by fat packing is rarely reported.
We also reviewed the pertinent literature.
